Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-28
These terms govern your use of the multiplayer game Oceana (Android package com.vejo.oceana, also available for Windows; "the Game"), developed and operated by VeJo("we", "us"). By installing the Game, signing in or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
1. The Game is under development
The Game is in testing. Features can change or disappear, servers can be unavailable, and progress, items, currency and characters can be changed or reset, including between test stages. We do not promise that the Game will always be available or free of errors.
2. Who may play
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law of your country sets a higher age for using online services, you must meet it too.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Google account (Google sign-in / Google Play Games). You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not sell, trade or hand over your account to someone else.
4. Rules of play
The Game is a shared world, so please play fair. You may not:
- cheat: use modified clients, exploits, automation or any other way to gain an advantage the Game does not allow, or to harm the Game and its servers;
- harass, threaten or discriminate against other players, or post sexual, hateful or illegal content, spam or advertising in chat, call signs and map labels;
- share other people's personal data or pretend to be another person or a member of our team;
- trade accounts, items or currency for real money or other goods outside the Game;
- break the law or the terms of Google Play and of your platform while using the Game.
Fighting in the PvP zones is part of the Game. Targeting a player to harass them is not.
5. Chat and moderation
Chat messages pass through a word filter. We may mute you, delete messages, suspend or delete your account if you break these rules. A short audit trail of moderation events is kept as described in the Privacy Policy. You can mute and block other players.
6. Virtual items and currency
Coins, items, boats, levels and everything else you collect exist only inside the Game. They have no value in money, are not your property and cannot be exchanged for money. We may change the economy, balance and item values, and fix errors, which can change what you own. Losing part of your hold when you die follows the rules of the zone and is part of the game. The Game currently has no in-app purchases; if we add any, these terms will be updated first.
7. Your content
You keep the rights to what you write or create in the Game (call sign, chat messages, map labels). You allow us to store and show it to other players as far as needed to run the Game, worldwide and free of charge. You are responsible for it, and we may remove it.
8. Our rights
The Game, its code, art, music and sounds belong to us or to our licensors; some art comes from third-party packs used under their own licences. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to play the Game. You may not copy or redistribute it, extract its assets, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this despite this clause.
9. Ending your use
You may stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy, section 7). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we change or shut down the Game; where practicable we will warn you first.
10. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, or for the loss of progress, items or currency. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Game changes. The date of the current revision is at the top of the page; for material changes we will also tell players in the Game or on the store page. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
